Bedka http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/tamdar/ Weather Conditions: Today was Partly cloudy, with persistant cirrus and some scattered cumulus. The high temperature reached 85, with a light northerly wind. Instrument Status: * Surface pressure, RH, and temperature sensors working and archiving. Anemometer has completely failed. * Ceilometer working and archiving * GPS system working and archiving * AERI working and archiving * Radiosonde system is working and archiving 4 launches were completed today Science/Miscellaneous: 0000 UTC launch partly cloudy with mostly cirrus and a few scattered (small) cumulus 1505 UTC launch similar conditions to previous 1915 UTC launch similar conditions to previous 2220 UTC launch similar conditions to previous AC status: We dusted off the coils on the AC but that didn't seem to help much with the cooling efficiency. The bago got quite warm this morning, enough to warrent one red warning box and quite a few yellow on the AERI. The units kicked in eventually, though, and seemed to work more reliably later in the day Extra radiosondes will be stored inside one of the ANG buildings after we leave and while the bago is waiting to be moved to Louisville.
