    Weather Conditions:

Hot and somewhat humid day with highs around 90
and dewpoints in the lower 60s.  Southwesterly winds from 10 to
15 kts.  Cumulus with some cirrus aloft, including anvil blow-off.  Potential
for severe weather did not materialize in Memphis.


    Instrument Status:

* Surface pressure, RH, and temperature sensors working and
archiving. Anemometer has completely failed, no plans as of
yet for a new one for the duration of TAVE-II.

* Ceilometer working and archiving

* GPS system working and archiving

* AERI working and archiving

* Radiosonde system is working and archiving
 4 launches were completed today

    Science/Miscellaneous:

We should see a wind shift to the NW tonight and tomorrow's forecast calls for highs in the mid 80s and dewpoints remaining in the 60s.  Once again, the AERIbago air conditioning units will be going full blast.   There is a small chance for severe weather tomorrow.
