Bedka, T. Wagner http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/tamdar/ Weather Conditions: Highs in the low 60s. Ceiling started out high, then moved lower as day progressed. Light rain started slightly before 2300 UTC. Instrument Status: * Surface sensors (temperature, relative humidity, pressure and winds) working and archiving. * Ceilometer working. * GPS system has been deployed and is collecting data. * AERI working and archiving, with occasional hatch closers as appropriate for rain. * Radiosonde system is working much more clearly as operators are becoming accustomed to software hiccups. 0100 Launch normal, data good. 1430 Launch normal, data good. Operators slightly overfilled the balloon, so it had a more rapid rise rate than normal. 1615 Launch normal, data good. 2015 Launch normal, data good. 2300 Launch normal, data good. All launch times are +/- 3 minutes of listed schedule times to accomodate ATC requests. There are 31 unused radiosondes left and 4 full tanks of helium plus an additional 1-2 launches in the current tank. Miscellaneous: No crew changes to report for today.
