Short http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/tamdar/ Weather Conditions: Mid-40's in morning, heavy rain moved in between 9 am - 3pm, winds easterly, shifting to Northerly with frontal passage, almost Instrument Status: * Surface sensors (temperature, relative humidity, pressure and winds) working and archiving * Ceilometer working and archiving * AERI working and archiving * Radiosonde system is still being tested * GPS system will be deployed tomorrow * AERIBago had a power failure this morning due to 30 amp fuse blown on heart interface it was reset and all is well Science: Primarily spent the day setting up computer networks, making sure instruments were working properly, netcdf software conversion was working, data could be uploaded to bora0 and ftp.ssec.wisc.edu. We should be able to start a full day of radiosonde launches tomorrow morning (Thursday) as there are some software issues being resolved with Vaisala currently. More on this tomorrow, we hope to have our first radiosonde data for FSL (Bill Moninger's) consumption by tomorrow. Miscellaneous: John Short will be leaving tomorrow and Kris Bedka arriving.
