Winds out of the NNE and increasing throughout the local daytime. Definitely not a bad day to be in the field. Instrument Status: * Surface pressure, RH, and temperature sensors working and archiving. Anemometer has completely failed. * Ceilometer working and archiving * GPS system working and archiving * AERI working and archiving Fewer yellow condition warnings today. Most likely due to a more stable bago temperature. * Radiosonde system is working and archiving 4 launches were completed today Science/Miscellaneous: 0000 UTC launch mostly cloudy with multiple cloud layers 1505 UTC launch broken cloud cover with 50% cirrus and contrail coverage. 1915 UTC launch similar conditions to previous 2220 UTC launch similar conditions to previous AC status: Units continue to work off and on throughout the day. Enough to keep the inside temperature reasonable. Discussed pack up and storage plans with both Capt. Hawkins and Lt. Adkins.
