How to use information from the NOAA/CIMSS ProbSevere model:
This statistical model predicts the probability that a storm will first produce severe weather in the near-term (in the next 60 min).
The statistical model does not necessarily predict if a storm will continue to pose a severe threat or if the storm will decay.

NOTE: Product latency on this web site is increased by 4-5 minutes relative to AWIPS-II data stream.
