Sensitivity in Total Column Precipitable Water (millimeters)
The following fields show the sensitivity of the EDAS analysis
to a single insertion of each of 30 observational datasets at 0000
UTC 6 February 1998. Experiments in which each
dataset were denied are subtracted from the control which utilized
all of the datasets. These difference fields show the analysis
system's sensitivity to the data, and not whether the data is
helping or hurting the forecast. Longer studies are necessary
to answer that question.
