CRAS 48-HOUR SIMULATION OF THE EDMUND FITZGERALD STORM

Here is a 48-hour CRAS simulation of the storm that sank the Edmund Fitzgerald on November 10, 1975. These forecast products are produced by the CIMSS Regional Assimilation System (CRAS) model running 20km horizontal resolution. This simulation uses output from the 61km resolution CRAS simulation as boundary conditions.

New Midwest subset graphics from GEMPAK are available in coarse, medium, fine, and four-panel resolutions for the 20-kilometer run out to 60 hours.
