(You will have to pay your tuition bill before you get reimbursed however. We will do the paperwork at the end of the workshop.)

Department number: 640   Class number: 508  Class Section: 001  (640-508-001)
The 5-digit course number for summer semester 2014 is 68589.

Please follow these 5 steps to enroll.

Step 1) Getting admitted to UW Madison as a Special (non-degree) Student
You can apply to the UW online at http://apply.wisconsin.edu/msn/special. In about two weeks you'll receive a letter from the Adult and Student Services Center confirming your admission. Be sure to save this letter as you will need your 10-digit Student ID number provided. If you have questions about the status of your application or trouble completing the online application contact the Adult and Student Services Center, 608-263-6960.

Step 2) Activating your NetID and Password
After you receive your 10-digit Student ID go on-line to My UW https://my.wisc.edu and click on the "Activate your NetID" link near the top of the page. (If you have a UW email account, your NetID is the portion before @wisc.edu) Demos and instructions, including videos and images of relevant web pages can be viewed at http://registrar.wisc.edu/demos.htm.
When you activate your NetID you will create your own password. Retain both of these as you will need them to enroll. If you have problems activating your NetID or forget your password contact the DoIT help desk at 608-264-4357.

Step 5) Departmental Authorization The first ten teachers will be able to register automatically, after that you'll need to contact the UW AOS department to be cleared to register. If this is the case call 262-2827 and have your 10-digit Student ID ready.

Step 4) Enrolling in your Class
To enroll, go to MyUW, http://my.wisc.edu , insert your NetID and password then click on "Student Center" and "Add a Class." A new browser window should open, select the correct enrollment term and input the five digit class number listed in the UW timetable. Proceed through enrollment and confirm that the course information is correct before clicking on "Finish Enrolling". If you have any problems or questions contact the Enrollment Help Desk, 608-262-0920 or the Adult and Student Services Center, 608-263-6960. Be sure to enroll before the cut-off date to avoid a $25 late fee.

Step 4) Paying for your class
The negotiated tuition for this distance-learning course is $200 with out-of-state educators paying the same as in-state residents. You can expect a bill via email to your WiscMail (NetID@wisc.edu) account) from the UW Bursar's Office within two weeks of enrolling. Be sure to pay by the due date to avoid a late fee. You will NOT receive a paper bill. If you have any questions about the billing process call the Bursars office at 608-262-3611.
