SSSP Survey

Dear Colleagues,

This questionnaire (MS Word) is being distributed by the Co-Chairs of the Satellite Sounder Science and Products (SSSP) working group, part of the International TOVS Study Conference (ITSC), to satellite operators that distribute global polar satellite observations and related products and datasets.

The purpose of the survey is to update information on routine access to global, operational and research datasets and make it available to users via links on the SSSP web site. Information include complete listings of the data available (measurements and products), data formats, metadata and software for reading files.

We kindly request you to provide information using the Word document as a guide. We believe this information will better facilitate user and research utilization of existing and planned satellite data networks.

Your response is requested by the end of this Year (2004). The results of the survey will be presented at the next conference (ITSC-14) to be held in Beijing in May 2005 and will subsequently be published in the technical proceedings.
