NWP systems
ECMWF (Tony McNally) conduct a survey shortly before each ITSC asking each
NWP centre to provide details on their NWP system and source of ATOVS data.

Notes on the Survey:
1) Many centers assimilate SBUV retrieved ozone products, but they are not listed as ATOVS retrievals above.
2) There are still operational users of NESDIS ATOVS retrieved products
3) Significant under-use of tropospheric data over land and ice
4) No operational use of cloud affected IR radiance data
5) Still a number of centers producing monitoring statistics but NOT on the external WWW. PWP indicates password protected.
