ITSC-XVIII: Toulouse, France, 21-27 March 2012

See the airport plan to find your way from your arrival gate to the main exit, between Hall B and Hall C.
In front of the main entrance, you will find
* a taxi rank (daytime cab fare around 25.00€ / night cab fare around 30.00€)
* shuttle to the city centre "Navette Aeroport" (one-way ticket 5 €), departure every 20 minutes, duration approx. 20 minutes.
bus departing from the airport from 5.30am to 0.15am, bus departing from the bus station (terminus - city centre) from 5.00am to 8.20pm.
4 stops in the city centre: 2nd stop at Jeanne d'Arc, 3rd stop at Jean Jaures and terminus at the bus station (cf. planes on the map)

Toulouse-Matabiau station is in the city centre. Hotels can be reached by foot (from 5 to 20-minute walk, depending on the hotel).
You can take the underground (cf. paragraph on public tranportation). Underground station "Marengo-SNCF" is in the train station.
A taxi rank can be found in front of the station.
Registration will be open at Grand Hôtel Les Capitouls (green arrow and green star on the map) on Tuesday 20 March 2012 between 15.00 and 19.00
Shuttle to / from Meteo-France
There will be dedicated shuttles for ITSC-18 between the city centre and Meteo-France.
There will be two pick-up points in the city centre (blue buses on the map):
- Place Jeanne d'Arc
- Allee Jean Jaures (in front of Flunch Restaurant)
Departures at 08.00 on the dot
Public transportation to / from Meteo-France
>From the city centre, take the underground ("Metro") A line (direction Basso Cambo) till the end of the line.
The nearest station (blue circled M) may be either Capitole, Jean-Jaures or Marengo-SNCF .
Please note that all stations are fitted with lifts, except for Capitole where the lift is undergoing maintenance (an escaltor is available there).
Once at Basso Cambo terminus, take bus n. 8 towards "Lycee Polyvalent" and leave the bus at stop "Meteo". This stop is easy to guess, as the bus makes a U-turn in front of Meteo-France main entrance before the stop "Meteo".
Frequency: Underground 1-5 minutes, bus 10-15 minutes.
Duration of the whole trip: 40-50 minutes.
Underground service begins at 5.15 and terminates at midnight (except on Friday and Saturday: 01.00am). Bus n.8 service begins at 06.00 and terminates at 21.00.
>From Meteo-France, take the bus n.8 towards "Metro Basso Cambo" (Caution! buses stop at Meteo in both directions, check carefully which bus you take) and leave the bus at the terminus Basso Cambo.
Then take the A line underground towards Balma-Gramont and alight at the closest station to your hotel (either Capitole, Jean-Jaures or Marengo-SNCF, or wherever you feel).

one-day pass ("Pass Journée") 5,50 € (valid during the whole since the first stamp until bus and underground services terminate)
two-day pass ("Pass 2 jours") 8,50 €
You can purchase the tickets either at Tisseo Outlets (airport, station Capitole, station Jean-Jaures, station Marengo-SNCF) or at automated machines (in all underground stations).
One-way tickets and round-trip tickets can be purchased on board buses from the driver.
