Weather Conditions:
Mostly clear, high's in mid-90's, dewpoints in 60's, dryline is very far
west (TX, NM border) and a weak east to west gradient of moisture is
noted across the TX/OK panhandles
Instrument Status:
AERI operating well, stirling cooler is nominal.

Science:
Convective initiation mission was conducted by DC-8, P-3, Lear and King
Air. DC-8 and P-3 made several passes over the Homestead/S-Pol site for
comparisons. Great PBL day at site with outflow boundary passage noted
just after 00 UTC the previous evening.

Miscellaneous:
AERIbago is running unattended. Raman Lidar personnel (Belay Demoz and
Dave Whiteman) providing
emergency support if needed. Bob Knuteson and Ralph Dedecker are
supporting the S-HIS and NAST-I
in OKC and can respond within six hours if AERI needs attendance.
