-----------------------
AERI-bago Daily Summary
-----------------------

Date: 19 May 2002 CST (Sunday)
Location: Homestead Site (near Balko, Oklahoma), IHOP field campaign
Operator: Wayne Feltz

Weather Conditions:

Warm and very windy (gusts over 40 mph), high ~78, high clouds to west from mountain thunderstorm activity, dust from surrounding fields sometime suspended

Instrument Status:

AERI ran well all day, atmospheric pressure threshold should be reset to a lower pressure since we are at a higher altitude than normal.  Surface station working well, GPS unit is not deployed yet.  Will deploy tomorrow.

Science:

Boundary layer mission was conducted with several low flight legs from the Wyoming King Air.   P-3 and Falcon.  Strong inversion at ~ 2000 m AGL.
Miscellaneous:

Bill Brown sent me radiosonde data to intercompare with AERI retrievals. Everything else very quite at the site.  Bago is running if fully automated mode very successfully and the tie downs have really helped stabilize the Bago in the strong winds.
