The 6th GOES Users' Conference Banquet will be held at 6:30pm Wednesday, 4 November 2009, at The Madison Concourse Hotel. This selection is on the conference registration form, so be sure to edit yours to include the banquet. The cost for conference attendees is included in the registration fee, and additional guest tickets can be purchased for $40 each. Executive Chef Charles Lazzareschi was voted Best Chef in Madison Magazine’s Reader Poll. Banquet speakers will be The Weather Guys, Professors Jon Martin and Steve Ackerman, who have entertained listeners on Wisconsin Public Radio for more than 11 years.
The Menu
- Curried butternut squash bisque
- Mixed greens with shredded carrots cherry tomatoes and cucumbers with our house-made balsamic vinaigrette and ranch dressings
- Seven grain salad with dried cherries, toasted almonds and sherry vinaigrette
- Roasted pork loin with mustard molasses, sage oil and green apple compote
- Seared sea bass with champagne cream
- Sliced sirloin of beef with brandy green peppercorn sauce
- Yukon mashed potatoes
- Rustic vegetable paella
- Fresh breads from our bakery
- Orange passion fruit mousse cake

Transportation
The Madison Concourse Hotel is only five blocks from the Monona Terrace, just one block northwest of the Capitol at the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and West Dayton Street. Parking is available at a city ramp approximately one block northwest of the hotel.
Please let us know if you are going to need transportation to The Concourse after Wednesday's session at the Monona Terrace in the Special Needs section of your registration by 22 October. Space will be limited.
