The naming format is the date of the presentation, time is was given, and the last name of the presenter. If you are unsure consult the agenda for presentation specifics.

Location

The 2010 NOAA AWG/ GOES-R Risk Reduction will be held in Madison, WI at the Concourse Hotel. Home of the state capital, Madison is the second most populous city in the state of Wisconsin. The Madison Convention and Visitor page has a comprehensive list of the all the well-known and not so well-known places and activities Madison has to offer.

Registration

Registration for the 2010 AWG/GOES-R is now open and will run until May 28. The online payment system will go online on May 10 and close the same time registration does. After the online payment system closes, registration fees will have to be paid on-site and in cash. The registration fee for the whole meeting will be $250. If you wish to attend only one part, the fee to attend AWG will be $175, while the fee to attend the Risk Reduction will be $75. The fee for on-site payment will be greater at $300 for the whole meeting, $200 for the AWG, and $100 for the Risk Reduction.

To register, find the registration confirmation email you received when you registered (Subject: 2010 NOAA STAR AWG/GOES-RRR Review: Registration Confirmation). Then click on the link included in the email and the "All Registration Information" page will open. Once on that page click on the "Pay Registration Fee" link near the top. If you have lost your registration confirmation email contact us and we will send it to you again.

Abstracts

Only posters with properly submitted abstracts will be posted during the meeting. No last-minute posters will be displayed. Please submit all abstracts using the confirmation email to access the submission form.

The maximum area available for posters is 48 inches tall by 48 inches wide. Posters do not need to be that size, but must be within that range.

Registration, Poster Abstracts, and online payment close on 28 May.

Wisconsin state tax exemption form

An FTP site has been set up for uploading materials including oral presentations and posters. The deadline for uploading to the site is 12:00 PM CDT on 4 June.
