GOES-R Activities at CIMSS / SSEC

Algorithm Integration Team

Project Objective

In support of the NOAA GOES-R mission and in concert with the ongoing GOES-R Risk Reduction effort, the Algorithm Integration Team at CIMSS was created for helping with the integration of the algorithms developed by the Algorithm Working Groups at CIMSS to integrate and test the output from the NOAA AIT Framework against the local offline tests. In addition, they help with delivering the code to the AIT as requested by various AWGs. It is anticipated that the GOES-R AIT will work collaboratively with the System Prime Contractor to ensure that the algorithms are implemented correctly.
