.SYNOPSIS...
Thunderstorm chances will gradually wane over the next couple days,
but not before a couple more shots for a few communities to receive
some rainfall. Storm coverage through Monday will likely be less
than the past couple days, though the threats of gusty winds, blowing
dust, and locally heavy rainfall will persist. The passage of a
weather system on Tuesday will lead to drier weather though
temperatures will continue to hover near the seasonal normal.

.DISCUSSION...
Meso low centered over NW Maricopa/NE La Paz counties is quite
evident on satellite and radar data this morning. Rainfall has
generally been light with some pockets of moderate rain. Total
lightning activity has generally decreased the past two hours. Super
Rapid Scan Operations for GOES-R (SRSOR) is centered over the
western states today, giving us 1-minute satellite imagery. From
these data (available online), clouds tops are warming and convection
looking rather ragged.
