This loop of GOES-8 visible imagery shows the westward motion of the MVC circulation toward the coast of the Carolinas on 05 July. Also evident on this loop are narrow rope cloud features over the Gulf Stream region (southern portion of the imagery), and widespread haze moving off the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. (northern portion of the imagery).
