Hold the SHIFT key and any mouse button down as you move the cursor across the large GOES-8 visible image; the small portal windows show the corresponding GOES-8 6.7 micrometer IR images (below left) and 10.7 micrometer IR images (below right). Use the "Set Speed" slider bar to increase the loop speed to maximum; note the "flicker" in the 6.7 water vapor imagery (and to a lesser extent in warm regions on the 10.7 IR imagery).
