This loop of GOES-8 Sounder experimental Total Ozone Product shows a lobe of high ozone (values greater than 400 Dobson Units, red enhancement) which moved eastward across Wisconsin on 29 March 1999. This high ozone followed in the wake of an upper-level shortwave trough which moved across the southern Great Lakes region earlier in the day.
