| Relationship between in situ suspended sediment concentration (SSC) and subsurface reflectance (water leaving radiance divided by downwelling radiance reaching the water surface) on January 24, 1995. 2nd order regression fit is suggestive of nonlinear relationship between optical depth and reflectance. SSC in the Atchafalaya Bay region has been observed in excess of 1000 mg/l. |
