Four League Bay (boxed area on map) on January 24, 1995 (0.75 microns).  In situ suspended sediment concentration (SSC) measured in mg/l during MAS instrument overflight.  Near surface SSC in this image is high (bright) in Four League Bay, contrasting sharply with a Gulf water intrusion (low SSC, dark) visible near the mouth of Oyster Bayou Outlet at the southern end of Four League Bay.  The in situ SSC pattern largely corroborates the MAS SSC pattern.
