You can look
at satellite images of any place in the world via the
Internet. The Space Science and Engineering Center in Madison
Wisconsin has a great Real-time
Satellite Image site where you can chose between
images of North and South America, Europe and Africa,
or Asia and Australia. You can also view
animated satellite images of these same locations.
You can get weather forecasts for anywhere in the
United States from the National Weather
Service
where meteorologists monitor and forecast the weather 24
hours a day every day of the year. The National Weather
Service (NWS) also keeps climate records for most locations
so if you want to see how your forecast turned out
just find the nearest NWS web page and check their
data for the dates you were looking
at.
